Marnhull Parish Council is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect and your rights.
What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to deal with your enquiry. Lawful basis: performance of a public task (and consent, where you ask us to keep you informed).
- No tracking: this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not profile visitors.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept in line with the council's retention policy and destroyed when no longer needed — typically after two years unless the matter is ongoing or must be minuted.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade personal data. Where your enquiry is a matter for Dorset Council or another body, we will tell you before passing it on.
Your rights
You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and in some circumstances to have data erased or restricted. To exercise any right, contact the clerk:
